Key Responsibilities:

Lead migration from legacy code to a .NET platform.


Design and enhance desktop and field forestry inventory applications.


Perform detailed requirement analysis for software and data integration.


Conduct feasibility analyses for ongoing technology improvements.


Develop, maintain, and document software architecture and database schemas.


Provide leadership and mentoring to software development teams (Full-time position).



Essential Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.


Proficiency with .NET, Visual Studio.NET, Visual Basic.NET, C#, and SQL.


Experience with statistical programming, data analysis, regression, and machine learning.


Familiarity with forestry inventory techniques: DBH, tree height measurement, and crown measurement.


Strong understanding of forestry measurement data applications and reporting.



Preferred Skills:

Knowledge of FORTRAN (especially for Part-Time role).


Previous experience in government or environmental/forestry projects.
