• Perform as a systems engineer on a large system of systems team
• Display strong technical writing skills
• Utilize engineering V-Model lifecycle experience (requirements, design, integration, test)
• Familiar with the Agile life cycle
• Display -excellent communication and presentation skills and -work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors
• Negotiate solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.)
• Utilize analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience
• Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details
• Proficient with domain knowledge (space systems engineering, ground optical systems, general systems)
• Participate in agile execution, MBSE, and requirements analysis.
• Display interpersonal leadership skills with support to customers, including meetings and briefings.
• Utilize DoD engineering experience, System Development Life Cycle knowledge, Familiarity with DoD 5000.
• Use experience with DoD Systems Engineering artifacts (SEP, SEMP, TEMP, CMP, DMP).
• Apply experience with INCOSE requirements writing guide.
• Travel as neededQualifications: -
• Bachelor's Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
• Active US government Secret security clearance.Preferred Additional Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or adjacent field
• Strong MBSE (SysML) experience desired
• DoDAF experience preferred
• MatLab, Visual Basic, Python, or other software language experience
• Integration/test experience, Space knowledge, including familiarity with Space Domain Awareness and SDA data algorithms preferred
• System Development Life Cycle knowledge
• Experience with Engineering Drawings and traceability MagicDraw
• Rational DOORsIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $89,000.00 - $165,000.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
