• Location: Colorado Springs
• Status: Monday - Friday (4-5 days a week 7am - 7pm) -
• Hourly Rates: $38.00 - $40.00 per hour
• Temporary until school hires permanently -
  Interim Health Care Special Nursing Projects has a requirement for a REGISTERED NURSE (RN), for a Private School in Colorado Springs, CO. -Not all nursing paths are the same-some are genuinely better.     • Deliver excellent patient care for students and staff presenting a variety of illnesses and injuries under the supervision of the Director of Nursing
    • Carry out patient assessments, document progress and report changes
    • Administer medication, operate medical equipment and maintain a safe environment. -A few must-haves for Registered Nurses: -
      • Graduate of an accredited nursing program and an active RN license in Colorado. -
      • Able to provide proof of current CPR or BLS certification (demonstration course required), including adults, children and infants. -
      • At least 1 -year of nursing experience. -
      • Excellent knowledge of PointClickCare a must
      • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
      • Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communicator and compassionate. -
      • Ability to step into assignments with minimal training and confidence
      • Ability to work as part of a team
      • Valid TB screening. -
      • COVID-19 vaccination card. -
      • Proof of flu vaccination, during flu season in the months of October-March. -
      • Knowledge of state and federal health care laws and regulations. -The perfect Candidate would be:
        • Eager to engage in short-term and long-term nursing projects across Colorado Springs, Canyon City, Pueblo and surrounding areas (nice to have, not a must have!)
        • Adapts quickly to different roles with minimal guidance, making them an asset in new environments
