  Provides nutrition therapy for patients with a variety of diagnosis, in an inpatient or outpatient setting as needed. Incorporates principles of culture-competence and family-centered care into clinical services.Completes written documentation of medical nutrition therapy provided in accordance with department standards for format, content, and time frames. Completes nutrition focused physical exam by evaluating body systems, mid-upper arm circumference, triceps skinfold, muscle, and subcutaneous fat wasting, feeding ability, oral health, skin condition, appetite and affect if applicable for patient care.Provides education and nutrition counseling to patients and families. Participates in the updating and development of nutrition education materials as needed.Assists interns, students and peers in their clinical practice and professional development.Collaborates with the family, medical team, schools, home care companies and other providers as appropriate to provide continuum of care for the patient and clinical services and outcomes.Contributes to clinical services and outcomes through rounds, care conferences and care coordination.Documents patient care time and activities for use with benchmarking, billing and productivity.Participates in quality management processes and work groups to make operational improvements.Shares on committees, task forces, and workgroups, and projects that support the organization mission.

  SCOPE AND LEVELGuidelines: Fully qualified, full performance or journey level.       Salary InformationAnnual Salary Range (Based on 40 hours worked per week): $63,317.59 to $94,976.38
      Hourly Salary Range: $30.44 to $45.66
