Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist Opening in Denver, CO _x000D_Located in Englewood, CO - Denver 7m _x000D x000D_Seeking a board-certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join the Behavioral Health team. _x000D x000D_ Practice with a highly engaged team to deliver the type of care you would want your own loved ones to receive. _x000D_ Performs psychiatric assessments for individuals under your care. _x000D_ Provides individual therapy, family therapy and/or medication management as needed for patients under his/her care. Appropriately requests consultation when indicated. Provides psychiatric consultation when requested. _x000D_ Leads the multidisciplinary treatment team and participates collaboratively in scheduled staffing regarding the treatment of his/her patients. _x000D_ Demonstrates appropriate medication administration and ensures that documentation regarding medications complies with facility and regulatory standards. _x000D_ Complies with all Medical Staff Bylaws and Medical Staff Rules and Regulations. Complies with all facility policies and procedures. Maintains professional behaviors at all times. _x000D_ Share on-call schedule providing on-call services for patients and for responding to emergencies, admissions, and evaluations as necessary. _x000D_ Independent contractor model preferred._x000D x000D_ Qualifications: _x000D x000D_ Graduate of an accredited MD/DO program and completion of residency in Psychiatry and fellowship in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry required; board certification preferred. _x000D_ Prior inpatient and/or outpatient experience in a behavioral healthcare setting practicing Psychiatry. _x000D_ Medical License _x000D_ Unrestricted DEA and State Controlled Substances registration_x000D x000D_Outpatient mental health clinic in Englewood, CO, part of the Denver metropolitan area. We provide exceptional, evidence-based intensive outpatient programs (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP) for individuals facing behavioral health challenges. We offer compassionate mental health care for adolescents ages 12+.
