COMPANY OVERVIEW
Holcim is planning to spin-off its North American Business to
unleash its full potential, capitalizing on North America's
oversized growth in construction led by the modernization of
infrastructure, a surge in advanced manufacturing and AI operation
and the growth of resilient cities.
Holcim plans to list the new company on the NYSE by the end of the
first half of 2025 and establish its operations headquarters in the
US to be fully dedicated to serving the North American market and
pursue a growth strategy across the region.
The newly listed company will become North America's leading
building solutions company, with industry-leading market position
to meet its customers' greatest ambitions with the most advanced
building solutions from foundation to rooftop.
Description:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Manages projects from planning through delivery. Liaises between
project members, cross-functional teams,
external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables,
requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting
plans are communicated. Utilizes appropriate tools to plan project
timelines, tasks, milestones, and
deadlines. Communicates schedule and changes to all stakeholders.
Plans and facilitates project meetings to
align the project team to methods and goals and to track project
tasks. Prepares agendas, meeting notes,
and project summaries. Monitors task completion status to identify
at risk project tasks and to develop
mitigation plans. Allocates resources, budgets, and hours to the
project and adjusts allocations when neccessary.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction
Management, or a related field or 5yrs of equivalent
experience.
Additional Education Preferred: Project management certifications
(e.g., PMP, CAPM) or equivalent experience is an added
advantage..
Required Work Experience: Previous experience with industrial
facilities, especially in the areas of environmental engineering or
beneficiation systems. Experience in the commissioning and handover
process of large-scale projects to operations teams. Knowledge of
health, safety, and environmental regulations in industrial project
settings.
Familiarity with project management methodologies. Project
management certifications (e.g., PMP, CAPM) or equivalent
experience is an added advantage.
Licenses Preferred: Project management certifications (e.g., PMP,
CAPM)
Required Computer and Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft
Office Suite, Google platform, and facility management software
preferred.
Travel Requirements: Less than 20%
