Marketing & Strategy will develop a comprehensive social media
function to differentiate Western Union in the marketplace. This
role requires a deep understanding of social media platforms,
marketing principles, and strategic thinking to create impactful
and cohesive brand experiences across various channels.Role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a holistic social media marketing and
strategy plan that aligns with overall business objectives and
drives brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue
growth.
- Lead a team of social media marketing and strategy
professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to
ensure the successful execution of innovative, integrated campaigns
and initiatives.
- Create and deploy content and measurement tools that help more
effectively acquire new customers and retain existing customer base
across the globe.
- Oversee the development of engaging and compelling content for
various social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging
and tone.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for social
media and marketing campaigns, analyze data, and provide actionable
insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Drive the development and implementation of a social media
crisis management plan, ensuring effective handling of potential
issues while maintaining the brand's reputation.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including
product, sales, and creative, to ensure integrated and cohesive
marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Manage relationships with external agencies, vendors, and
influencers to maximize the reach and impact of social media
marketing initiatives.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and
best practices in social media and marketing, and incorporate
innovative approaches into strategies and campaigns.Role
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in social media marketing, marketing
strategy, or a related field, with a proven track record of
developing and executing successful marketing campaigns in a
multi-channel retailer or financial services company.
- Proven ability to lead diverse, geographically dispersed
teams.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a
related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the
ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
of the organization.
- Ability to communicate updates in a concise fashion to
Executive Management and to understand and meet their
expectations.
- Additional experience in budget management and resource
allocation.
- Experience in a business transformation setting is a plus.We

Western Union.The annual base salary range is $131,907 - $219,946
USD per year.This role is also eligible to receive an annual bonus
and Long-term Incentives. Actual salaries will vary based on
candidates' qualifications, skills, and competencies.You will also
