Schedule: 9am-5pm
Salary: $114,500.00 - $143,100.00 + 15% Annual Bonus
Overview
This person will be responsible for the development of new
financial systems, as well as the maintenance, monitoring, and
enhancement of existing systems. Evaluates system adequacy and
implements improvements in compliance with FASB, IASB, IRS, and SEC
regulations related to General Accounting and Cost Accounting for
Manufacturing Operations. Responsible for the accurate input of
complex accounting or financial transactions, as well as managing
cost accounting and related financial analysis staff. Accountable
for financial functions, including financial reporting for
manufacturing operating units, planning, setting strategic
direction, and providing cross-functional support for manufacturing
operations. Responsibilities
Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting for all US
and non-US manufacturing operations. This includes providing key
insights into financial data and driving decision-making at the
operational level.
Assess the overall effectiveness of the cost accounting processes,
identify gaps, and implement improvements to enhance business
efficiency and accuracy.
Direct the development of financial systems related to
manufacturing activities to ensure their integrity and alignment
with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and
company-specific policies.
Oversee the calculation and establishment of standard costs for
manufacturing, ensuring that they follow current best practices and
company guidelines across all factories.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in cost accounting within a
manufacturing/production environment.
Strong understanding of general accounting practices and the impact
of business transactions on manufacturing operations.
Proven management experience in cost accounting and financial
systems development.
Expertise in interpreting FASB, IASB, IRS, and SEC regulations, and
determining their applicability to business needs.
An MBA or CPA is preferred.
